Funding Information

 RACQ Charitable Foundation. Applications are open until 31 December 2011 for organisations affected by the 2011 floods in Queensland. The R.A.C.Q. Foundation was set up by the RACQ with a corpus of $8 million. The funds are being directed to community and charity groups. Examples of the kind of things that could be approved for funding include refurbishing a community hall or providing sports equipment. The $8 million is part of a $20 million flood relief assistance package being offered by the RACQ. $1.8 million was distributed in the second round. Travel & Accommodation Allowance Subsidy assists Registered Apprentices and Trainees that live more than 100 kilometres return trip from the nearest registered training centre in meeting travel and accommodation expenses. Funding of $22 per day for accommodation, Airfares for travel over 1400 kilometres and a range of reimbursements per kilometre travelled.
